London production service, from people who shoot here.

01 — What we handle

Crew, kit, permits and the practical work.

London is home base. We book crew from the people we already shoot with, source kit from the London rental houses, and handle the permits, parking, unit bases and logistics that decide whether a city shoot runs on time.

• Producers, production managers and coordinators
• Crew and heads of department across every department
• Camera, lighting and grip from London rental houses
• Location scouting, recce and location management
• Filming permits, parking and unit bases
• Travel, accommodation, vehicles and catering

02 — Permits

The right office for every location.

London permits are not one application. Streets and public spaces go through the borough film offices, coordinated across the capital by Film London. The Royal Parks, the Underground and rail property, the City of London and most landmarks each run their own process and lead times. In Color is a member of Film London's London Filming Partnership, and we work to its Code of Practice.

• Borough film office applications
• Royal Parks, TfL and rail property
• Road closures, traffic management and parking suspensions
• Drone permissions in London airspace
• Residents' letters and community liaison

03 — Inbound productions

Your UK partner on the ground.

International agencies, brands and production companies bring us in as their London partner. We crew, scout, permit and run the shoot, keep you across every decision, and hand back the material to your team. We advise on UK film and high-end television tax relief, and take the job beyond London — to the South West and the Jurassic Coast — when the story needs it.

Are you a production company based in London?

Yes. In Color is a London production company and production service company. We produce commercials, music videos and film, and run production service for UK and international productions shooting in the capital.

What does a London production service company do?

We are the local team an incoming production hires to make a London shoot happen: crew and kit, location scouting, filming permits, unit bases, parking, travel and accommodation, and the producers on the ground who keep the day running.

How do filming permits work in London?

Most public locations are permitted by the local borough film office, coordinated across London by Film London. The Royal Parks, the Underground and rail property, the City of London and many landmarks run their own processes with their own lead times. We map every location to the right authority and build the timeline around your dates.

Do you work with international productions shooting in London?

Yes. Production service for inbound productions is a core part of what we do, and we act as your UK fixer. We handle the UK side — crew, permits, logistics, tax relief guidance — and hand back the material to your team.

Can you take a shoot beyond London?

Yes. We move projects between London, the South West and the Jurassic Coast, and work with partners in South Africa, Iceland and Slovenia when a job runs beyond the UK.
